Over twenty Culver artists took center stage at the Young Creatives Art Show, filling Niles West's Gary Davis Gallery with many creative art pieces.

Culver art teacher Ms. Lurie chose these students for their exceptional talent and artistic joy. “It’s important to recognize those students who both excel in art and experience joy through art,” she said.  “Designating a time and place to make the visual arts the focal point is validating to the young artists of our community and their dedicated teachers.”

Proud smiles illuminated the gallery as students saw their creations come to life on the walls. Parents and guests marveled at the talent, exclaiming "Wow!" and “This is so awesome!”

The event offered Culver students a glimpse into the world of high school art. Guided by Niles West art staff, they toured the school's impressive art spaces, fueling their inspiration and sparking ideas for future work.

“Culver is thankful Ms. Lurie continues to inspire her students and participate in this show each year,” said Culver Principal Erica Smolinski.

The Young Creatives Art Show is a testament to the power of art education and the importance of celebrating the joy of the creative arts. Culver is proud to be a part of this event and looks forward to witnessing the continued development of its young artists.
