Farewell, Mr. Suarez

During our Fun Run assembly, we took a moment to show our love for Mr. Suarez, wish him well in his next career step, and tell him how much we will miss him! Mr. Eramia created this wonderful video, capturing some of the reasons we appreciate Mr. Suarez and wish him all the best!

School Library Books

Please remind students to bring in any school library books before the end of the school year. They should be returned to the school library.

PTA Calendar Art 2024-2025

It’s that time!! Students can submit up to 3 pieces of artwork to be considered for next school year’s calendar. See the form that includes the list of holidays and events for kids to use as inspiration for their art! The form also includes instructions to upload the art to their assigned project folders on Artsonia! Deadline is Friday May 24, 2024. 

Niles Family Services Event

Niles Family Services is hosting a Summer Bash event on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11 am, featuring summer clothing, free food, games/activities, and community vendors. Please see the flyer for details. 


Yearbook sales go from September through March each year. Starting on May 24th, we will have extra yearbooks to sell on a first come, first serve basis. The yearbooks are $16.00. Please bring the exact amount if paying in cash, or, a check made payable to Culver School for $16.00. The yearbooks will be in the front office for purchase.

Future School Calendars

Due to construction, school is scheduled to begin one week later, come fall. Our schedule will return to normal the following school year. Please see our next year and tentative 2025-2026 calendars on our website.

Absence Reporting and Tardiness

As a reminder, if you need to report a student absence, please call our attendance line at 847-966-9280 ext 1118.  As a matter of safety, please notify the school of absences in advance of the school day.  If a student is absent and we are not aware of the reason for the absence, our school nurse, Mrs. Morrissey, will be contacting the parent(s) and/or guardian(s).  

Additionally, please make every attempt to have your child to school on time.  Student late arrivals to the classroom are disruptive and delays the educational process.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Kindergarten Registration for 2024-2025

Registration for incoming kindergarten students begins on Thursday, February 1st. All students who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2024, are kindergarten students.

If your child is currently enrolled in our preschool program, they are automatically enrolled for kindergarten. There is nothing you need to do at this time.

How do I register my child?

  • Beginning Thursday, Feb. 1st, contact the front office at 847-966-9280 and provide the following:
    • Child’s name and date of birth 
    • Parents’ name, email, phone number and address
  • All incoming kindergarteners will participate in a kindergarten screening in late April. 
  • Parents will submit required registration paperwork, including:
    • Original birth certificate
    • Required state paperwork
    • Required district paperwork
    • Required proof of residency documentation
